The Esperança (stands for Hope in Portuguese) Project is 100% owned by AHP Lda. and is located in the Southern Region of Portugal, covers 492km2 in the Portalegre Municipality – Portalegre District.
The Esperança Exploration Contract with the Number MN/PP/002/19 work plan defines 100.000€ for the initial period of evaluation of 3 years, with the option of an additional extension of 2 years with an additional investment of 200.000€.
The Geology in the Esperança Exploration area consist mainly of folded and metamorphosed Pre-Cambrian sedimentary, and igneous units; and Devonian and Ordovician metasedimentary units.
The Zr-Ti-REEs mineralization is hosted by quartzites of Ordovician age that are folded defining several parallel layers; This sequence is intruded by granites.
Main target is Tapada de Bários, with the high potential in strike of these Zr-Ti-REEs rich units, with several sub vertical structures with more than 500m, sectioned by N-S faults, along more than 2km along the E-W quartzite ridges, with main 10 REOs absolute (non Normalized values) content up to 7789.99ppm, Ti values up to 12.05% and Zr values up to 5.85%.
